Shylock show reluctance to lend money to bassanio because bassanio's friend Antonio Christian who had persecuted is Jewish race very cruelly and he wants to take revenge not only by Antonio but indirectly against all the Christians prosecuted him on his own behalf and that of all his tribe ... is coming and hypo critical and also wants to take revenge from Christian through bassanio.....
