SKY apperars BLUE because:

When the sunlight enters Earth's atmosphere, the small molecules of air i.e N2. O2 etc scatters the blue light present in the sunlight. This is because blue colour has small wavelength therefore it scatters more in the atmosphere.

Delayed SUNSET and early SUNRISE happens because:

The light rays comming from the sun has to cover more distance in the atmosphere. So, the light gets bent due to atmospheric refraction.
Therefore during sunrise its apparent position is higher whereas its position is down during sunset.

Hope it helps

bhumikaM: but why does violet, indigo having less wavelength not scatter like blue
Phillipe: no here blue means all the shades of blue, but the primary colour is blue and due to its intensity it scatters the most and only plane blue is seen
Phillipe: thanks for brainliest
bhumikaM: ok
