Why does sodium chloride solution freeze at a lower temperature than H2O?

The density decreases because of the salt present in sodium chloride ...for example ..the Sea water freezes because of the salt present

When non volatile solids are added eg-nacl to water. Boiling point increases and melting point decreases. It is because the number of water molecules available to become vapourise/freeze decreases due to impurity.
