For many solids dissolved in liquid water, the solubility increases with temperature. The increase in kinetic energy that comes with higher temperatures allows the solvent molecules to more effectively break apart the solute molecules that are held together by intermolecular attractions.

This happens when the overall solution process is endothermic. The enthalpy of solution is the sum several processes: breaking inter-molecular bonds of solute; creating a cavity in the liquid for the solute; interaction of the solute with solvent in the cavity. The sum of these enthalpies can be positive or negative because large numbers are involved and small difference can tip the balance.
Endothermic processes are driven by increasing the temperature.
