A substance is a kind of matter that can't be separated into other kinds of matter by any physical process.
A substance undergo change in physical state beacuse of the following reasons :
1. This is so done to overcome the force of attraction between its particles.
2. Physical change can actually be reversed easily, thus, substance can afford to have change in state with a clear concept that it can be reversed again.
