Swami decided to hand over the letter only in the evening because he wanted to satisfy his false statements about Samuel by making him angry.

When Swami was standing in front of the School gate, he felt that he became the worst perjurer on earth as he didn't have any proof of Samuel's brutality. He wanted Samuel to justify the letter and waited for more time. For this cause, Swami didn't hand over the complaint letter to the headmaster in the morning.
