- It is majorly due to Solar radiation.
- During sunlight i.e. daytime, there is net gain in energy due to radiation from Sun while in the night, when sunlight is absent, there is net loss in energy.
- The Earth’s crust has limit to absorb an energy. Hence, Terrestrial radiation occur mostly at night.
