hola mate❤❤✌❤❤
Air travel is preffered in northeastern states more than road trips because of these reasons because There are wide rivers in between cities of around 10–20 km. So, its not always feasible to construct bridges. Though indian govt. has constructed many bridges (India's longest bridge bhupen hazarika bridge is situated here) . Also due to rough terrain raliway tracks cannot be laid. Due to mountains, rivers etc road journey becomes too long even for short distances.....
And In North eastern part of India is a hilly terrain. Among the northeast States only Assam has considerable plain area. The rail connectivity is to states other Assam is very poor. Due to hilly terrain, the conditions of roads are very bad. For example to reach Aizwal, the capital of mizoram from Kolkata, you have to first come to guwahati by train, which takes minimum 18 hours. From guwahati it takes more than 20 hours by bus. The distance between Aizwal & Guwahati is only around 600 kms. Due to poor road conditions, buses can't travel more than 30 km/hr.

gd mrng dear:)

This is because of following reasons :
1-Difficult terrain - In the north east region of India many mountain ranges are present which makes it difficult to lay roads or railway tracks.
2-Mighty rivers - In this regions big rivers with swift flow are present which makes it difficult to construct road and railway track.
3-Dense forest - Presence of dense forest cover in this area makes it difficult to lay roads or railway tracks.
4- Frequent floods- As this area receive heavy rainfall so there is a risk of flooding due to the overflow of rivers. This damages the roads and tracks.
5- International borders - This area has international frontiers with Myanmar, Bangladesh and China.

have a great day ahead ❤
