As it is well known to you that the area of the main courtyard for offering prayers inside the Katra Mosque is like a raised steps from which the imam delivers the sermon at the Friday prayer.

Now , the question arises is that , that why it have a specific dimension , so according to me it might be for the better comfort and it might me specificallesd so that the the listens could listen to the wording in a proper way while the lessoning of his/her Sant.

The dimensions are $45.5m × 7.32m.$

It has been divided into five bays.

The total area is $19.5\: acres$ and can accommodate $2000$ Namaz readers.

This is the reason one can find 2000 squared type mats depicted on the floor (Specific dimension).
