Why does the Bishop save the convict from being arrested again?

The Bishop's attitude toward the Convict was extremely kind and generous. he protected the Convict from being arrested again . when the convict was first arrested it was a bad year for him he has no work to do and has no income their fore it was his compulsion not His fault to stole. Bishop was a faithful person he believes that goodness can change heart of a person therefore he make his attitude good towards the Convict and IT results as the Convict had moved and he again believe in humanity goodness and Society hence bi shop protected him

Bishop save the convict from being arrested again because he wants to change him. If convict will be arrested, then again he will be a wild beast.
