Why does the blue colour of copper sulphate solution change when a piece of iron dropped in?

Answer:

THe blue colour of the copper sulpate changes becoz Fe is more reactive than Cu . Therefore it displaces it from its sulphate solution and the colour of the copper sulphate (blue ) was only because of copper therefore when it is is not there colour will automatically fade away.

The blue colour of copper sulphate solution changes when a piece of iron is dropped as Iron being more reactive than Copper displaces it from its compound. The blue colour of the solution is due to Copper , but on adding Iron it changes to green which is the colour of Iron Sulphate
