Why does the colour of copper sulphate changes when iron nails are placed into it

When iron nails are added to a solution of copper sulphate then displacement reaction takes place and ferrous sulphate is formed with copper being deposited on nails.Copper sulphate solution that is basically blue changes to green after addition of iron.
CuSO4+Fe---FeSO4+Cu

the colour of iron sulphate is green so the colour changes from blue to green
