why does the concentration of hydronium Ions change when a solution of an acid is diluted? Answer fast please ❤❤❤✌

Hey mate ☺
When we talk about dilution then this means that we are adding water to a solution..
So, here when we dilute the acid i.e. add water to acid then the concentration of their hydronium (H3O+ or H+) ions changes . Because on adding water H+ ions of acid nd hydroxyl ions of water react to form water molecules and the concentration of hydronium ions decreases.
Hope it helps you ☺✌✌

Adding water to an acid or base will change its pH. Water is mostlywater molecules so adding water to an acid or base reduces theconcentration of ions in the solution. When an acidic solution is diluted with water the concentration of H + ions decreases and the pH of the solution increases towards 7.
