Borad leaves of the trees in the forest stops the sunlight to enter into forest.

HEY HERE YOUR ANSWER!!

The forest floor receive less sun light brcause there were many trees in the forest so they too have leaves. These leaves caught up the sunlight and doesn't allow the light to reach the floor
