1) mild climatic condition are found in the gangetic plains (2) due to deposition of sediment brought by ganga and its tributaries,a fertile cultivable land is found in gangetic plains (3) agriculture and other industry have flourished well in gangetic plain (4) trade and transport facility are well developed in this region. Therefore.population is high in indo gangetic plains.
