In India, child marriage is prohibited as every child has the right to education and freedom. Children are the key to a better future. Letting them take care of a household at a very young age is just barbaric and the child's right is not being met.
Dowry-related deaths have been increased in India. Poor families, cannot provide the dowry and the in-laws might hurt the woman or family for not giving the dowry. Therefore dowry too has been abolished by the Indian law.
