why does the level of water not change when sugar is dissolved in it?

its water level does not change because the small particles of sugar went in the small intermolecular spaces present in water

the level of water does not change when sugar is added in the water ,it is because the sugar get dissolved and get into the intermolecular space. that's why the level of water does not change.

but the mixture get denser.
