the medium become acidic in mouth because in our mouth there is saliva a d in saliva there are some weak acids to digest the partial carbohydrates in the mouth itself . The ill effects of this are the enamel of the tooth is decayed due to the continuous effect of acids . We can prevent this by brushing our teeth daily because toothpaste neutrals the acids which prevents from decay.
