"In the story ‘Letter by Dhumaketu’ Ali was an old man who has no one in his life except his daughter Miriam, who he hasn’t seen for several years.
The old man daily comes to the post office with a hope in his heart that her daughter may send a letter to him. He is poked fun at and called out coachman Ali daily by postmen.
Ali raises his eyes to heaven in gratitude because his name is called out in the post office and he thanks the lord thinking that a letter from his daughter has finally arrived.
