He regret because the snake had came like a guest at his house to drink water on a hot day. The poet was so happy to see a guest but when he realised that the snake is poisonous the voice of his education said to him that he mist kill the snake. He picked a stick and threw it at the snake. By this sudden attack the snake ran away. The poet thought that he should have listened to the voice of his heart rather than his education. He was upset to make a guest run away.
