because when the Postmaster see the lencho's letter first he laugh and then he serious and then he think that the writer of the letter had an unshaken faith in God and the Postmaster did not break his unshaken faith in god so he try to collect the money to send lencho

The postmaster sends money to lencho in order to keep lencho's faith alive in god as he was completly moved by it when the postmaster reads the letter of lencho to god, he become serious and does not want to shake his faith and decided to answer the letter. he gather money with the help of his post office employeers and friends on behalf of god and signs the letter ''god" so that lencho's faith does not shaken
