The pressure drop when it passes through lungs because the pressure in your mouth and outside is greater, air pushes its way inside to the lower pressure, goes through the trachea and into the lungs, which fill up with air. ... When we exhale: The diaphragm relaxes again: the space gets smaller and there is higher pressure inside the chest.

When the pressure get pass through the lungs it get drop down because the pressure in mouth and outside is greater that pushes it's way to the inside...
And it reaches into lungs through trachea , so while exhalation diphagram relaxed again , and space gets released again...
