Why does the red color always appear when the sun sets. what is the scientific reason for this?​

Reason:

Refraction of sunlight through atmosphere.

The sunlight has to travel longer distance during sunsets as it is close to horizon so,most part of the light is scattered other than red and red is scattered least.Our eyes receive this longer wavelength (red) and thus we see red colour during sunset.
