Soap is a hypertonic solution with high amounts of dissolved salts as solutes. When we wash clothes with soap solution, the concentration of salts is more in soap than in cells of hand fingers. Due to this, Water molecules present in hands will move from low concentration region to high concentration region through semi permeable membrane. Due to this, skin of your finger shrink when you wash clothes for a long time.
