It happens because of exosmosis. The outside solutions of detergents acts as hypertonic solution for the cells of our fingers. So the water from the cells of our fingers move out through exosmosis due to concentration gradient.

Answer:

The solution of soaps and detergents are hypertonic as compared to the osmosis concentration of our skin.

Therefore the washing clothes results in exosmosis in skin cells that come in contract with the solution.

Due to this reason, the skin over the fingers shrinks while washing clothes for a long time.
