Why does the sky appear black instead of blue to astronauts?

because when a person reaches high than there is no dust particles present in thr atmosphere and because of no dust particle the scattering of light phenomeon would does not take place and thatswhy the colour of sky is appearing black as we reaches high

Hello Mate,
The sky appears dark instead of blueto an astronaut because there is noatmosphere in the outer space that can scattering of light doesn't occur.Thus the sky appear black instead of blue to astronauts...
