Why does the sky appear deep blue after rains on a clear day?

The rain simply clears all pollutants in the air keeping it clean for a while molecules in the air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter red light.

Sky becomes clear after rain because the dust particles in the atmosphere settles down with the raindrops. So the sky appears clear and bright.

Generally cloudless day the sky will appear in milky white before it rains and a deep blue after it rains.
