why does the speed of sound increase with an increase in humidity ?

Humidity is the amount of water vapour in air. In the gas which is humidity pured has more water vapour in the air. So there is more vapor particles then dry air. with many perticles sound waves jumped on from one particle to another since the paricles are close enough. Thats why, sound can travel faster in humid air.
