Since blue colour has a shorter wavelength and red colour has a longer wavelength, the red colour is able to reach our eyes after the atmospheric scattering of light. Therefore, the sun appear red in the morning....!!!!

during the sunrise and the sunset the sun is low in the sky and it transmits light through the thickest part of the atmosphere a red sky suggests a sky loaded with dust and moisture particles . we see red because red wavelenth the logest wavelenth transmits the sky or the atmosphere at that time
