why does the sun appear white at noon​

Answer:

We know that when light of different wavelengths combine to become white . In the noon because the sun is overhead, there is least amount of scattering and hence appear white . While it is overhead , it has lesser air to travel through and scattering results from dust and other particles which will be reduce if the distance to be traveled in air is reduced.
