Sun flower faces towards sun to get heat. This kind of property is called Phototropism, which is present in young sunflower plants.Just below the flower,a flexible segment of stem responds to pressure within motor cells, causing the sunflower to turn towards light. Mature plant doesn't show this property as the stem becomes stiffer by then.
