The value of g at all place is not the same, it varies. The value of g is more at the poles and less at the equator. Hence on the basis of altitude the value of g changes.

Answer:
small g represents the acceleration sue to gravity
g = GM/r^2
where G is gravitational constant
M = Mass of earth
r = radius of earth
Earth has a shape like an orange which is scientifically called geod. The value of g varies from place to place as the radius of the earth taken into consideration varies. At the equator radius is greater and at poles it is less. Also when we go up in height the radius increases. Thus, the value of g varies
