That is why people are asked to consume protein in a large amount if they do workout or weightlifting.
Protein can also cause significant problems because if you don't workout or if you don't do physical work after consuming a good amount of protein then your muscles can swell and can even cause muscle pain.
It also leads to frequent muscle pulls.
