Why does there is a change in potential difference in a circuit which contain series resistor combination ??

And

why potential difference remains same in parallel resistor combination??

please explain in simple language

Explanation:

There is always a single P. D between 2 points... Ie if two point are same then pot diff will be the same... In parallel connection all resistors are connected across supply or bw 2 fixed points... Therefor P. Dwill be same... On the other in series the two points for P. D. Measurement are different...
