you have to do one thing. Arrange these elements in descending order of their atomic radius. Then after arranging, have a look at long form table. Now, what did you observe? You will observe the congruency in the position of these elements, i. e. Elements will be in exact position when u will compare this to long form table. We know that atomic radius goes on decreasing while going from left to right in a period. So this arrangement match with the 2nd period of the long form table. Hope u understand this.
