Torrid zone receives the maximum amount of sunlight as torrid zone lies mostly near the equator and since the sun rays fall directly on the equator, thus torrid zone receives the direct rays of the sun all throughout the year and it has a lot of heat.
Hope this helps you and pls give me the best answer ☺.

Answer:

The mid-day sun is exactly overhead at least once a year on all latitudes in between the

Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. This area, therefore, receives the maximum

heat and is called the Torrid Zone.

hope this helps
