Why does transpiration take place from the lower part of the leaf?

Because stomata are present in the lower surface of leaf which transpire the most

transpiration is the exchange of gasses in plants. this is done through gasses passing through the stomata. the stomata is located on the lower surface of the leaf because it has more shade due to which the evaporation process slows down
