why doesn't a bird get shock when it stands on high voltage wire

electric current flow is proportional to potential difference according to ohm's law that both the birds feet are at the same potential so no current flows through the bird. since current flow is necessary for electric shock. so bird will not be shocked the world is quite safe unless it simultaneously touches another wire with a different voltage.

The birds feet is on the same potential and it follows the rule of ohm's law therefore it never gets shock while sitting on high voltage current
