why doesn't does the blue colour of copper sulphate change when a piece of iron is dropped into it​

When an iron nail dipped in the copper sulphate solution than iron displaces copper from the copper sulphate because iron is more reactive than copper. Therefore the color of the copper sulphate solution changes.

when a piece of iron is dipped Into the blue colour of copper sulphate thenthen the blue solution change into Greyish colour .the reason of happenings this are given below ......please see below

iron is more reactive than copper in activity series.

due to being more reactive it displace the copper from the copper compoun named a copper sulphate .

obviously it add with sulphate and make iron sulphate compound with solid.

due to presence of iron sulphate in the solution ,the colour of solution become greyish.
