Why doesn't the glue stick to it's bottle?

Glue is a adhesive used to joined two solid substances.

Inside the bottle the glue is not is direct contact with air, so the adhesive property of the glue is retained.

When glue comes in contact with air, the adhesive property of the glue loses and it drys out.
