when water is added to pure acetic acid , it conduct electricity because Adding water shifts the equilibrium to the right so that more ions are formed and the solution conducts electricity. (Eventually, the acetic acid becomes too dilute and conductivity drops off again.)

- It is also a hydo carbon formed by carbon and hydrogen .
- Hence it does not conduct electricity.
