Why don't boiled leaves show any change in cell shape or size when soaked in sugar syrup?

The solute content inside the leaves will come out due to osmosis at first while heating. Further heating and boiling will destroy the cells. Cells will be dead. So, after addition of sugar syrup no more osmosis will take place.

When leaves are boiled in water then kept in a sugar syrup , no osmosis occur due to the dead of the leaf
