Why don't get real image in plane mirror

Real images can be projected on a screen. In order to form an image on a screen from a plane mirror, there should be a plane some distance away from the mirror where all light rays from a given point converge, such that there is a one to one correspondence between points on the object and points on the image on the screen - then, the imaged formed is real.
For a plane mirror, however, this is not possible. The law of reflection states that the angle of reflection r is equal to the angle of incidence i. Both angles are measured with respect to the normal to the mirror.
