warm blooded organisms especially human being constantly require energy for regulating their body temperature. reptiles and amphibians dont have to undergo this feature as they're cold blooded( body temp= external environment temp). Double circulation helps avoiding the mixing of oxygenated and deoxygenated blood , which means efficent supply of O2 to the organism.
