Bananas go through a unique process known as negative geotropism. Instead of continuing to grow towards the ground, they start to turn towards the sun. The fruit grows against gravity, giving the banana its familiar curved shape. The round shape of the earth is due the the gravitational force of the earth. All of the mass of the earth pulls on all the other mass, and it tries to create the most efficient shape… a sphere. Gravitational force is also responsible for the structure of our body. We will become shorter of the gravitational force of the earth increases. Or we will become tall if the gravitational force of the earth decreases. Our body has a structure which makes it easier to live on the earth.
