the east india company forcly gave them advance and buy silk in a very low price and sell to a very price and get a huge profits.another fact was that theeast india company banned shifting agriculture.they also started demanding the farmers to grow only indigo.they bought indigo in india at a low price and sold the same indigo in england at higher price. which made indian farmers poor and east india company rich.but atlast even farmers took on a indigo rebellion and stopped to grow indigo.
