Why electron affinity of nitrogen is more than beryllium?

as nitrogen is more electro negative then beryllium

Nitrogen and beryllium have same number of shell but nitrogen has more protons in it's nucleus which result in More nuclear force than Beryllium.So,nitogen has more affinity for oxygen than beryllium.
