why electrons do not experience strong nuclear force?

So the only reason why nuclear forces do not affect the electrons is that there is no strong nuclear force between the electrons and the nucleus.

they experience the nuclear force but that overcomes by the revolution of the electron around the nucleus and that centripetal force allows it to stay in the orbit just like earth around the sun.the space between nucleus and electron is very high for instance if the nucleus is the size of football the electron would be 62 km away
