    We do not have a process to produce Energy from nothing and destroy energy into nothing. Perhaps it is possible in some other Universe.

=============
    We know that it is the universal truth that Energy cannot be produced or destroyed. It can only change from one form into another.

   There are two things here: Mass and Energy. Mass contains matter. That consists of atoms and subatomic particles. Mass has chemical energy inside it.  We can not see it.  It can also have heat energy, light, electrostatic energy, magnetic energy, sound energy, potential energy, kinetic energy, gravitational energy etc.

   In our universe when energy is transformed from one form into another two changes may occur.  Physical changes in position or speed or phase etc, and Chemical changes due to reactions among atoms.

   When we want to destroy some mass into nothing by any process, the atoms change into another compound. Energy comes out as heat, light and sound.  We can convert back sound into mechanical energy. Light energy back into electricity.

    But we do not have a process to produce Energy from nothing and destroy energy into nothing. Perhaps it is possible in some Universe with different laws of physics.  In future who knows what could happen. But as per our laws of sciences, it is not possible

   The whole science we know is dependent on this fact that energy cannot be destroyed or created from nothing.

Explanation:

Because total energy of universe is remain constant so energy cannot be created nor destroyed.

It can only transform from one form to another form.

Thank you
