Some people say that Porus was killed by Eudemus in around 320 BCE, after which Chandragupta Maurya took the advantage, and killed Eudemus to take over Paurava. Some people say that Porus and his son were poisoned by Chanakya's spies so that Chandragupta could easily establish his rule over there.
